Limiting leads to the essentials

Lamont T. Cranford, 57, of 62 Main St., a salesman for the Security Life Insurance Company, was stabbed and wounded at 8:43 p.m. last night in the parking lot of the Son-of-the-Sheik restaurant, 378 Watershed Pkwy., by two men, one described as wearing a green beret and the other as dressed in a red suit, when he refused to hand over his wallet, which contained $23.74, and tried to fight off his assailants.
